A man and a gun

What is up with FOXNEWS today? This picture of Uday (if that is who it is) makes him look like a good guy. So, he's holding a rifle of some sort. Is that a crime? I don't think so. Heck, if you knew nothing of the guy and saw this pic, you are likely to think that he was a friendly chap, easy to get along with, a poker buddy, if you will. Why show a smiling, friendly-looking Uday, FoxNews?

Women-only gym hours?

Being this is women's herstory month, this story is only fitting: Women-only gym hours at Harvard. This is a slippery slope of the worst kind. This is how it works (for those of you in Rio Linda), begin with something small, seemingly insignificant, like gym hours, and than move on to more items, maybe separate times for eating in restaurants or the type of clothing allowed at the beach. When will we AMERICANS stand up and say "HELL NO!!!!!!" to the Sharia Law spreading this way?! What will it take to wake us up?

Blackberry Blackout

I think I know what happened in this case. The Blackberry service was interupted by our government as a test to see how people would react if the service were interupted, as it has been. This shows that we must be very fearful of our over-seers.

Frank C!

Caliendo, you are a crazy man! Doesn't take much to poke fun at old, balding men, now does it? I am speaking of the Super Bowl XLII Pre-game show on FOX where Frank Caliendo did a flimsy impression of Dr. Phil and when they turn the camera back to Terry and gang, one realizes that the comparison of Dr. Phil to Terry Bradshaw is no mistake, I really think that FOX planned that. Just keep the jokes coming, Frankie.

Groundhog Day

So, Phil saw his shadow, meaning six more weeks of Winter. I thought so, as that is what the calendar says as well. So, cold temperatures will continue. That is all.

MySpace Canceled!

I have successfully canceled my personal MySpace account. Didn't take long at all. You should join me and thousands of others who have canceled their accounts. Tell Murdoch and the execs at FOX to shove it! We webizens demand intelligent design from our sites, that is the main reason I love Facebook. Don't care much for most of the apps, but the main purpose of FB is still there and that is what matters.

New Year

Well, here is my first post of the new year, 2008, a year of campaigning by those that wish to be our next supreme leader. My choice for that position is Dr. Ron Paul, Rep. from Texas. He is the one individual in the battle for top dog that will be the least harmful to our grand America. Think and vote for Ron Paul.

Offensive? To Dems maybe

This joke, found while reading a FoxNews article, is not hate-speech, as some may call it, but rather it is humor in its truest form. Just laugh and be merry. Why get angry? It is only a joke, after all. And the councilwoman should not have resigned, she should have stuck to her guns, pasted the joke on her own website, and ignored the stupid mayor. I wouldn't have resigned, not for any threat. One must stand up for what's right and not back down when times get tough. This brings to mind a song by Aaron Tippin You've Got To Stand For Something.

PorkChop is offensive?

I don't get it, how is porkchop an offensive term? It is a food, last I checked. Not one that I personally consume, but still edible by those that do. So, for a group to take offense is highly ridiculous and stupid! They are just looking for something to claim offense over, that is what is happening here and with any matter that a group claims is offensive. Hell, the term 'offensive' is hurtful to me. I don't understand the human condition, I just don't. We want to be harmed, it would appear. If I were an ET, that is certainly what I would think about our civilization.

Not surprised, the devil known as Newdow has popped up once again to challenge our freedoms and our national superiority, and he has suckered a New Hampshire couple into joining his idiotic cause. WorldNetDaily is today reporting that a new case has been filed and the threat to our liberty is not over. We must stand up and defend our Pledge of Allegiance and our National Motto from evil idiots such as a Newdow and his ilk. I may be an agnostic, but I certainly don't support the forced removal of God from our public schools. The Pledge is a time-honored and sacred duty of every student and should continue. That is all.

Lake Tahoe

It is the morning of the memorial service for my Cousin Super Dave and I am in the room typing out this entry for my blog. I will be heading down to the pool shortly to see what it looks like and just to wander about this place. The Mont Bleu Resort is a nice place, great for couples, and the staff is friendly and courteous. This is where Super Dave worked after all.

I will be going about setting up the cameras around 2PM for the 4PM service, presentation, whatever its called. I don't think anyone's come together on what the proper title of it is as yet.

The theatre that we will be using is quite large and has this large drop-down screen that the slideshow will be played out on. Should be fun but also a real tear-jerker as we all know why we are gathered here at this time. We all miss him so much and this is especially difficult on his parents and sister.

I will be signing off now, maid just came by and the room does need its daily cleaning. More later.

Manatee Status="In wow mode"

This story just keeps changing and only gets better with each change. Kelsey did the right thing, and she should be applauded. Getting an illegal out of this country, right on! Now, I do consider her a bit weird for being in love with a creepy Mexican-born student, but maybe she was faking and was really intending to help America by removing an illegal student. I would like to get to know Kelsey and ask her just that.

Am sure this isn't the last we will hear of this international incident and can't wait for the next update.

Manatee Status="Thoughts of love"

Yet another student-teacher love spasm is being reported today, with a 13-year-old male student and his 25-year-old female teacher running off together to who-knows-where. All I have to say is I hope they stay hidden and evade the authorities for as long as possible. If they truelly want to be together, than so be it, I have no problem with it, kids grow up fast in this modern world and we should accept the monstrosity that we have created. I am in no way saying that Kelsey is a monster, quite the contrary in fact, but rather the modern world where feelings are all-important and self-esteem is king. This world dictates that we allow for students and teachers to get together, to be together, and to love one another as two people should do and feel good about it. So, let them be. I know that as a young student, I had a major crush on one or more of my female teachers, and if one of them had initiated a relationship with me, I would have willingly joined her. I would not have been harmed by the relationship, as some psychos would claim, but rather I would have enjoyed the companionship and maybe would be in a better place today. Who knows? Let students be students and if that involves some romps in the hay with a particular teacher, let it happen, it is educational. That is all.
